it will save you in cigarettes and health costs!

This audio series and workbook is unique because I approach the smoking addiction from an entirely different perspective. Smoking is a chemical addiction to nicotine; yet taking a metaphysical approach to the reasons behind the smoking can help you decide to quit.  Combining those insights with self-hypnosis AND the color that can best support your efforts will provide you with the best formula for continued success!

Hi Catherine!

I’ve gone 5 full days without smoking and while it would be OK to have one, I choose to breathe freely!
I’m drinking water from a yellow cup – thank you!  -Melissa

Motivating you to become motivated is the key to quitting. It is a behavioral change that moves beyond threats of cancer and death. It is about empowering you to WANT to be healthy, happy. Change can be brought on by choice or by crisis. I can offer choices before it becomes a health crisis and a financial crisis. Have you attempted to quit smoking before? The average non-smoker stops on the seventh try, and 80% who stop are motivated by a health problem.

The power of your mind can control your body and your behavior. That is what hypnosis is all about, so regardless of what type of smoker you are, hypnosis will work once you have established the desire to quit. Believe it or not, hypnosis is what got you into smoking initially!

Releasing Cigarettes

I would like to take a moment and explain the ten audios and how they address the emotional basis of the addiction. Your mind/body connection is the focus in these audios, and they each have a theme. I would recommend that you listen to the first two: Finding Your Emotional Anchor and Wanting to Quit: A Booster Session in order. You are invited to listen to any of the remaining audios in any order. You may resonate with one script more than another, or may find that you need one theme for a week or so, and then feel the need to alternate to another theme.

I have designed this series to address the most challenging aspects of the smoking cessation process. Some clients prefer to listen and “work through” all of them and others have their favorites that they feel work best for them. One client would listen to the Booster every night; yet begin her day with a different script each day, alternating to help her with all aspects of life. She now chooses a script in the evening based on her daily challenges.

To be sure you’re getting the most out of using my hypnosis audios, there are a few important key factors to remember. This is a process and I want to be sure you are doing what it takes for your personal success. It is YOUR success, I offer you the tools for that success, so be patient with yourself, with hypnosis, tenacity does pay off, after all it was repeated negative scripting that instilled the pattern you are replacing, therefore repeated positive scripting can turn that around!

1) Listen Daily

Repetition is how ALL behavior changes happen. And what is in your mind, can and will be manifested in your body, and your life.

2) Let Go and Allow

Put yourself in the present moment while listening to the audio. That includes the grocery list, bills, what time it is, or how many plates to set for dinner! When we think about the things we need to do we are not focused on the present, which is the message on the audio. Let go of thinking and allow yourself a little time to relax and process what is being said. It is being said to you, it is for you, it is a gift of relaxation what I like to call “the gift of shift”. Just imagine and relax, and if you can’t do that, then just imagine yourself relaxing!

You may feel you fell asleep and did not hear a thing. That is OK, actually, that is GREAT! The positive message is being received by your subconscious mind, your conscious mind is being bypassed, and it is your subconscious mind that sets emotion-driven behavior. It is all good.

3) Be Patient

We cannot plan consciously when the changes will happen or even in what specific form. Often the shift has taken place and you didn’t even notice it at first because it just happened! Three days later you realize you aren’t focusing on the issue any longer and things take care of themselves. It’s like the name on the tip of your tongue or trying to get to sleep. It happens when we stop focusing on it because our miraculous subconscious mind works out the details!

4) Believe

You must believe that like any other person, anyone can change. Your mind will believe what you tell it. Henry Ford said it best: “Whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right.” Follow these easy steps and you will give yourself what’s required for change, a little time with yourself each day. Releasing Cigarettes Audio Series

Audio 1: Finding Your Emotional Anchor

It is recommended that you listen to this audio first. The second audio is a condensed version of this particular script. Finding Your Emotional Anchor guides you to your first experience with smoking and invites you to examine the emotional anchors that keep you from success. These insights can help you begin to make the connections you need in order to kick the smoking habit for good. I also help you examine your desire to quit, for those that WANT to quit, hypnosis is the easy and effortless way, and many can quit quickly and completely when the WANT is there.

After this audio session I will ask you a series of questions, and they are found toward the back of this workbook in the section with the same title. Please be prepared to write down your answers and set aside at least 60 minutes for this entire first session.

Audio 2: Wanting to Quit: A Booster Session

This is a condensed version of Audio 1, without the Q&A. This session helps you examine your desire to quit and helps you get motivated for the process of quitting. For those that WANT to quit, hypnosis is the easy and effortless way, and many can quit quickly and completely when the WANT is there. This will help support your need to WANT to quit.

Audio 3: Your Relationships and Smoking

Your Relationships and Smoking puts the smoking habit into a new perspective: it is all about relationships. Identifying whom you keep at a distance with your smoking can be a wonderful clue as to why you smoke. Knowing why is the first step in releasing the behavior. This also addresses some of the body/mind challenges I talk about in my section on addiction and the emotional basis of dis-ease.

Audio 4: Redirecting the Habit

Your language and self-talk have everything to do with your success. This script helps you redefine smoking from the subconscious habit to a conscious expensive hobby you no longer desire. Shift the way you think about smoking and your habit of smoking shifts. Often when we reframe a situation by changing our perspective we change the energy and thoughts that surround the behavior.

Audio 5: Building Self-Confidence

Building Self-Confidence focuses on ego-building, motivation, and will-power in the smoking cessation process. Believing in your own ability to release cigarettes is perhaps the best gage for success. This audio supports a positive attitude toward self and your personal success.

Audio 6 Shift Your Pay-Off

Shift Your Pay-Off invites you to focus on a different pay off or reward by looking at the benefits of being a non-smoker. Examine what you enjoy doing that smoking restricts and place your thought focus on that activity or emotion. When you can focus on the joy and the positives of what you achieve being a non-smoker you shift your energy and thoughts to a higher, more positive frequency.

Audio 7 Save Them for Later!

Are you one of those personalities that cannot be told to “quit”? This audio provides an alternative suggestion that you cut back and reduce your cigarettes by saving them for a later time when you think you will need one. This is designed in order to help you feel in complete control of your smoking choices, and then suggests that you keep “saving them for later” then you realize you are a non-smoker!

Audio 8 Becoming Grounded

This audio focuses on relaxation and stress release techniques, which are vital components in the smoking cessation process. I also equate each emotion center with a color and corresponding emotions. It is a wonderful script and recommended for anyone, not just non-smokers! Before you walk into a situation that may require composure, a deep breath will help you return to the suggestions in this script and ground your energy, diminishing a need to “light up”.

Audio 9 Reducing Withdrawal Symptoms

A unique approach is used in this audio: helping you imagine that you have been a non-smoker for over one year, therefore establishing the withdrawal process as something you worked through beautifully. This also focuses on bypassing the potential side effects that can be associated with smoking cessation and nicotine withdrawal: increase in appetite, depression, lethargy, irritability, irregularity, and others.

Audio 10 Weight Release Companion

Focus on the potential side effect of weight gain often discourages individuals from wanting to quit. This audio provides positive suggestions and alternatives to food and snacking, including the importance of drinking water and exercising. Understanding and allowing the release process to take place will help reduce the need for your body to put up “protection”. This script addresses the issue of relationships, moving forward, and the importance of accepting change, which is the true emotional basis for holding onto fat.
